A brief description about this Activity.
The Health Education England (HEE) Guidelines recommends that individuals who are delivering injectable procedures for facial aesthetics using either Botulinum Toxin and/or Dermal Filler should receives training and education to Level 7.The Certificate in Injectable Aesthetic Non Surgical Interventions has been designed to meet two specific needs, the HEE requirements for the delivery of cosmetic procedures (November 2015) and the GMC guidance for doctors who are offering cosmetic interventions (April 2016). This certificate is for Foundation Stage only.This programme will focus on the administration of botulinum toxin and dermal fillers as non surgical interventions, the knowledge will provide learners with the understanding of the relevant legal and ethical requirements, develop a client centred approach to treatment both pre and post care procedures, the management of complications and adverse situations, risk management, key principles of anatomy, physiology and dermatology, and developing the skill in delivering safe, consistent treatment to a high standard for a client led process.Target Audience: -Medically qualified personnel, in both the dental and medical sectors.Pre Requisite: Medical qualification or equivalent
