This PDO Threads Masterclass is suitable for those who have completed and are confident in basic Botox and Dermal Filler techniques. You will be trained to carry out the non-surgical face-lift using PDO Threads that aim to not only lift and tight the skin, but also induces collagen production, with immediate results that peak at 6 months and can last up to 2 years. This has paved way for a whole new demographic of younger clients looking for early intervention as well older clients who wish not to consider surgical options. Though PDO threads were initially used for treating and preventing ptosis their benefits are not only limited to the hypodermis but also the layers above due to the massive skin response created as a result of their insertion from micro trauma, haemostasis, platelet aggregation, vasolidation, hyperaemia as well as the later stages of regeneration.Our PDO training courses focus on understanding the principles behind collagen stimulation and how to incorporate PDO threads in your practice for anti-ageing combining other modalities such as botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, PRP and micro-needling for a better overall treatment plan for your patients targeting all the skin layers and aspects of ageing. The course is divided into two parts or levels according to experience and indications.The theory will cover a comprehensive level of anatomy, consultation and examination, anaesthesia, facial mapping and techniques and learning how to manage complications. You will also be taught how to assess the client from a holistic approach, using a combination of both PDO Threads and Dermal Filler to achieve optimal results tailored to each client.The hands-on practical will be supervised by one of our expert aesthetic trainers. For each model that you see, you will be observed, critiqued and actively taught during the entire consultation and patient treatment procedure. You will be required to complete a Case Report form, which not only documents what you did, but also encourages reflection on the experience.On successful completion of your training, you will be provided with a certificate of attendance and complimentary support pack.
