Overview for Safeguarding Children, Young People and Adults Level 3

A brief description about this Activity.

The aims of this session are to raise awareness of how to recognise abuse, to highlight your duties as the Designated Safeguarding Officer and to clarify the referral process should a concern be raised with you.The learning objectives are achieved via:1. A facilitated discussion and series of case studies which look at a range of situations and encourage participants to consider their role and responsibilities in each.2. A trainer-led group exercise and presentation looking at the different signs, symptoms and indicators of abuse3. A trainer-led presentation highlighting the specific responsibilities held by a Designated Safeguarding Officer and identifying the referral pathways should a concern be raised with ourselves.
