This online course is designed to give an introduction to HAZMAT. HAZMAT includes dangerous goods or hazardous goods which can be solids, liquids, or gases that can harm people, other living organisms, property, or the environment. They are often subject to chemical regulations. In the United States, United Kingdom and sometimes in Canada, dangerous goods are more commonly known as hazardous materials (abbreviated as HAZMAT or hazmat). The aim of the course is to provide a firm introduction and grounding in HAZMAT- so that you can work and operate safely in an environment where HAZMAT is present.
