A theoretical and practical session to support learners to become confident in an emergency First Aid situation. The content advises what to do best in a given situation and how to take appropriate action to help save a life. Learners will look at the role of a First Aider, consider how to make a primary and secondary survey, explore how to give First Aid treatment, practice the recovery position and identify signs to look out for.Learners will be given details to apply for membership of the Association of First Aiders.
