A brief description about this Activity.

This session is suitable for individuals or staff teams who want to consider knowledge requirements relating to the handling and administration of medicines. The content will consider CQC regulations, key principles of medication management in relation to safety and security, compliance with legislation and a clear knowledge of the types of medication and their possible adverse effects. Learners will reflect upon their workplace procedures and consider confidentiality, security and person centred approaches. Learners are able to then consider undertaking a competence Diploma unit to support their professional development
