A brief description about this Activity.
These two half-day workshops, which are drawn from Mills' doctoral research, are motivated by the desire to improve care for the Child in Care (in England) Participants will explore and learn about cultural constructions of child/hood and implications for practice, consider how child/hood in care is constructed through institutional processes and the implications for care practic, learn about the (multi-agency) Network Approach to working with children in care touching on the usefulness of postcolonial, posthuman, and systemic theory and explore and learn key ways to facilitate professional networks as communities of care-full inquiry
