A brief description about this Activity.

This course is designed as an introduction to food safety and is suitable for anyone who is starting work in a food environment, in a 'low risk' position, where food is not directly handled, prepared or served (in which case, the Level 2 course will be applicable).This course is ideal as an introduction to the subject and can be used as the first stage of training, before going on to study Level 2. In this course, you will have an introduction to food safety, personal hygiene and how to keep food premises and equipment clean and safe. This course can be utilised for induction training, general information & knowledge, refresh training or basic training.
