Overview

This workshop will focus on mental health rather than mental illness. It is a really important distinction to make; mental health is about realising your potential and flourishing while coping with the inevitable ups and downs of life, whereas mental illness is about pathology and disorder. While the workshop will not ignore mental challenges and languishing it will focus on strategies and good practice that leads to thriving, purpose and meaning and how sport and physical activity are a crucial part of achieving this
