This is a comprehensive and in-depth Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) course with CPD certificate. This course is combined theory and practical activities on live models. On this course you will learn how to safely perform PRP treatment which involves taking a small sample of the patients blood is taken from their arm and placed into a centrifuge, which spins it very rapidly to separate the plasma from the red blood cells. The plasma can be injected directly into specific areas of the skin, or skin needling can be used to create tiny punctures across a larger area, to allow the plasma to be absorbed. This course will provide you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work competently as an advanced aesthetic practitioner specialising in Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). Throughout this qualification you will focused on carry out both needling and injection techniques. In this qualification you will develop an understanding of managing safe working practices and how to identify and control hazards. You will also learn how to identify patient body conditions and those patients suitable for the treatments. This course does not include Phlebotomy certificate
