A brief description about this Activity.
This course has 22 hours of video clips; 212 Lectures; 1300 Questions; 3000 Flash Cards plus a certificate of completion worth 60 CPD Credit Hours. API 653 Storage Tank training course has 13 modules fully covering the Publication Effectivity Sheet (API 571, API 575, API 576, API 577, API 650, API 651, API 652, API 653, ASME V and ASME IX). Module 1 – Explains study plan, document navigation, scoring area, exam question distribution, exam tips and 20 sample questions. Module 2 – Explains Body of Knowledge (BoK) & scoring area. Modules 3 through 10 – Each module includes detailed explanation of the reference documents (API 571, API 575, API 576, API 577, API 650, API 651, API 652, API 653, ASME V, and ASME IX) including knowledge and concepts, important facts and figures, power point presentations, video clips, flash cards and practice questions. Module 11 – has highlights of reference study materials outlined within publication effectivity sheet. Module 12 – has 18 sets of flash cards taken from highlights of modules and should be treated as potential exam questions. Module 13 – has over 1300 questions within 5 sets of closed and open book mock exams as well as practice questions and quizzes. The practice questions for each module cross checks your understanding of the concepts while the flash cards help reminding you the key points; and can be used for quick referral. Our mock exam questions are in-line with API spirit of examination, that is, focused on verifying your knowledge and how to apply them. Our training approach helps you solve any question within any context and scenario, since you would be capturing the concepts, principles and theory rather than merely memorizing some numbers or facts without understanding the underlying reason or their applications. The depth each topic or module covered is based on the expected number of exam questions. This would help spending your study time more effectively focusing on high score exam topics. We made exception for API 571 Corrosion and materials part of the exam where many candidates face difficulties. A comprehensive set with ample practice questions and flash cards is exclusively designed for API 653 Storage Tank Inspector Examination. We have also complemented our API 653 Storage Tank Inspector course with everyday knowledge that is expected from hands-on inspectors. These are called “Practical Questions” or “Awareness type of Questions” that you are expected to encounter on a day-to-day basis. Such questions are expected during closed book part of the exam. All these plus selective videos, exam tips, time management techniques, mock exams with explanations and many more. Our training course goes through seven check points reviewed by a team of SMEs (subject Matter Experts). The course content is revised regularly based on the latest revision of Publication Effectivity Sheet.
