A brief description about this Activity.
This course is worth 40 hours of study; has 39 lessons, 750 practice & mock exam questions, 14 sets of flash cards plus 8 hours of video clips. You shall also receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course. API SIFE Source Inspector Fixed Equipment training course contains 18 modules completely covering publication effectivity sheet and body of knowledge. Module 1 – Explains important facts about your exam application and what you should expect on exam day. This module also comes with 20 quiz and accessible to all for free. Module 2 – Explains body of knowledge, scoring area, reference codes and standards and exam tips. Module 3 through 16 – Covers API 588, Source Inspection and Quality Surveillance of Fixed Equipment; SSPC; ASME Section V Non destructive Examination; ASNT SNT TC‐1A NDT Personnel Qualification and Certification; ASME Section II Materials; Parts A, B, C, D, AWS D.1.1 ; Structural Welding Code; ASME Section IX Welding and Brazing Qualifications; API 577 Welding Inspection and Metallurgy; ASME Section VIII Construction code for Pressure Vessels; API 572 Inspection of Pressure Vessels; ASME B31.3 Process Piping; ASME B16.5 Pipe Flanges and Flanged Fittings; API 578 Material Verification Program (PMI); API 598 and Valve Inspection and Testing. Module 17 – has 14 sets of flash cards that highlight important terms and should be treated as potential exam question material. Module 18 – has 7 sets of mock exam having 750 exam questions with explanations. Our e-learning courses include video with subtitle that could be used for both candidates who are hard of hearing or are visually impaired. There are lots of illustrations and power point presentations, flash cards that are useful for candidates with dyslexia. Tutor support is provided via telecom, whatsApp and Zoom. There is a comment sheet for each lesson and course to ensure that our policy of sharing knowledge is realized. Candidates can use our WhatsApp line or use our contact us form to voice any concern/issue/difficulty they may have understanding the courses. For workshops and classroom training, we shall ask invariably candidates during registration (form) whether the candidate needs any special assistance and take appropriate action to ensure access to classroom is provided. (lift, bathroom for disabled, etc.) We do own the content because we are teaching the codes and recommended practices without copy pasting the content but rather explaining the important terms, concept and knowledge and how they are applied in practice. We provide ample quiz, practice question and mock exams to ensure candidates understood and can apply such knowledge. We use every available and practical training tools for our self paced online courses such as video, audio, power point presentation, lots of illustrations and pictures, texts, drop down, read aloud and tutor support via what’s up, live and recorded webinar and meeting including Q & A sessions.
