Overview for Becoming Psychedelic: A Course in Ketamine

A brief description about this Activity.

Human minds and bodies are connected and the purpose of ketamine is two-fold: it benefits the body as well as the mind. Our bodies hold on to trauma (big or small, self-imposed or outwardly imposed) that has been endured over the course of our lives. This trauma becomes compounded and settled/trapped inside of our bodies. Ketamine allows our bodies to work through the physiological aspects of trauma by working through and releasing its negative impacts. During Ketamine treatment, the mind becomes dissociated from the body just enough to become able to view our trauma experiences in a more objective way. This perspective shift allows us to alter or change the way we view ourselves or the world around us through a more positive, healthier lens. The experience is completely subjective to each individual, with a great deal of commonalities. It grants the ability to identify and embrace new perspectives that are beneficial to overall health and well-being. It brings into awareness the areas of growth that need tending to and inspires a greater inclination to take action in these areas of their lives moving forward.
