A brief description about this Activity.
This course offers in-depth training on the use of cannulas in aesthetic procedures, an essential skill for minimising bruising, reducing injection discomfort, and enhancing safety during treatments. Ideal for practitioners looking to broaden their injection techniques, this course combines theoretical and practical elements to build confidence and competence with cannula use. Course Structure and Activities Pre-Study eLearning: Learners begin with an eLearning module that covers the fundamentals of cannula use, including its advantages, anatomy considerations, and best practices for safety and efficacy. This module establishes a solid knowledge base ahead of in-person training. College Session Theory Recap: Tutors review essential concepts from the eLearning, focusing on anatomy relevant to cannula techniques, safety protocols, and the clinical indications for cannula use in aesthetics. Demonstration: A live demonstration of cannula techniques, with expert guidance on insertion points, depth control, and product placement strategies. Learner Practice: Supervised hands-on practice with cannulas, allowing learners to refine their technique, build familiarity, and gain confidence in using cannulas for various facial areas. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills to safely integrate cannula techniques into their aesthetic practice, enhancing patient comfort and treatment outcomes. Learners must have a minimum of 6 months of experience as a facial injector and prior training in foundation dermal fillers, fat dissolving, or skin boosters relevant to the product they intend to administer with a cannula.
