Overview for Differentiating between Disordered Eating and the Actual Diagnosis of an Eating Disorder

A brief description about this Activity.

Clinicians working with Eating Disordered clients must be psychologically minded if they are to be effective helping clients. Registered Dietitians Nutritionists have the challenging job of rehabilitating our clients, while navigating the maze of diet culture which can result in developing disordered eating and/or eating disorders. This one-hour module will discuss the difference between the two and also describe the reasons that eating disorders are safety seeking measures.
