A brief description about this Activity.
This 'Masterclass' is suitable for already qualified Aesthetic Practitioners ONLY. Delegates are expected to have mastered the basics of Dermal Fillers and feel confident enough in their craft to begin looking at more Advanced techniques and treatments. This particular Masterclass will cover 'Cheeks', 'Chin' and 'Jawline' Filler. Learning is varied and consists of self-guided study/learning at home (12 hours worth of reading through the Advanced Manual) combined with (2 hours worth) classroom study/learning at our training academy and (6 hours worth) practical learning by actually carrying out treatments on a high volume of consenting Live Models; closely shadowed by our Head Practitioner Bretony. Delegates will take this course if they wish to shadow/learn more about Bretony's signature techniques, hence the title 'Masterclass'. Here at The Aesthetic Lounge LTD, accessibility for all is of utmost importance. We vow to make reasonable adjustments for all of our delegates, dependent on their additional needs. For example, we would employ a sign language interpreter/translator for delegates whom are hard of hearing. Additionally, our head practitioner herself is dyslexic and subsequently, she favours a more 'hands on' practical approach to learning. Thus, she could use her life experience to tailor how learning is delivered on our courses to suit our delegates if this was the case for them also. For example - answers to assignments could be recorded on a dictaphone and submitted for a member of staff to write them out on their behalf. Again, adjustments can be made for delegates with physical disabilities such as lowering the height of the beauty beds, making sure the classroom is on the ground floor or that the building we use has disabled access, etc. Unfortunately, our courses would not be appropriate for any individuals who are blind due to the nature of the activity and the health and safety implications this may have e.g. handling sharps, injecting into the face, etc.
