A brief description about this Activity.
Our first aid training course is a course that covers the foundation knowledge needed in First Aid including, anaphylaxis, CPR, choking and bleeding to students. Our in-clinic training will demonstrate the following: Understand the role and responsibilities of a First Aider Manage an unresponsive casualty How to preform CPR Administer First Aid to a casualty with anaphylaxis Manage a casualty who is in shock Manage a casualty having a seizure Recognize and assist a choking casualty Manage a casualty with external bleeding Administer First Aid to a casualty with eye Injury Provide First Aid to a casualty with suspected minor illness Administer First Aid to a casualty with burns and scalds We will also cover practice such as CPR on demonstration models and cover possible scenarios with our students where they will be able to practice first aid such as injuries etc.
