A brief description about this Activity.
This course gives you all the knowledge and practical skills needed to perform anti-wrinkle treatments. From product knowledge and treatment areas to injection techniques and live models you will first complete online training from the comfort of your own workplace or home which will teach and test your understanding of a wide range of modules crucial to give you the best background understanding of the subject including the anatomy and physiology of the face and skin. On this course you will learn how to assess the musculature and anatomy of the face to determine the individual treatment plan per client (as every face is different and what works for one, may not work for another); learn the current trends and how to apply them; the reconstitution of toxins and how to adjust the toxin to suit feminine vs masculine clients. You will complete in-depth theory training with an expert practitioner to further underpin your knowledge. Finally, you will attend practical training where you will learn the practical skills of administering anti-wrinkle treatments on live models overseen by your expert tutor. The course is a detailed combination of pre-study theory and on-site practical training covering a wide range of techniques covering the upper part of the face including: Forehead, glabella and crow’s feet Course requirements : Suitable Healthcare Practitioners, SPMU practitioner 6 months+, Progression Route into Aesthetics or NVQ Level 3 Beauty therapy or equivalent, 6 months needle experience or fast track student. If you do not hold an NVQ Level 3 or 4 but do have other qualifications that are directly related to this area of work, particularly if you work with needles please contact us to see if we will accept your qualification as a pre- requisite for enrolment.
