A brief description about this Activity.
The current course is specifically aimed at improving general understanding and knowledge of attendees on ‘’Fundamentals of Risk Based Inspection’’, enhancing their appreciation of inspection. API RP 580 is discussed in sufficient detail examining various scenarios. Our e-learning courses include video with subtitle that could be used for both candidates who are hard of hearing or are visually impaired. There are lots of illustrations and power point presentations, flash cards that are useful for candidates with dyslexia. Tutor support is provided via telecom, whatsApp and Zoom. There is a comment sheet for each lesson and course to ensure that our policy of sharing knowledge is realized. Candidates can use our WhatsApp line or use our contact us form to voice any concern/issue/difficulty they may have understanding the courses. For workshops and classroom training, we shall ask invariably candidates during registration (form) whether the candidate needs any special assistance and take appropriate action to ensure access to classroom is provided. (lift, bathroom for disabled, etc.) We do own the content because we are teaching the codes and recommended practices without copy pasting the content but rather explaining the important terms, concept and knowledge and how they are applied in practice. We provide ample quiz, practice question and mock exams to ensure candidates understood and can apply such knowledge. We use every available and practical training tools for our self paced online courses such as video, audio, power point presentation, lots of illustrations and pictures, texts, drop down, read aloud and tutor support via what’s up, live and recorded webinar and meeting including Q & A sessions. Important topics are presented within flash cards and augmented with Q&A session to ensure attendees have grasped the principles.
