A brief description about this Activity.

This course is aimed at Healthcare Assistants that have been working in general practice and practicing at level two for at least 12 months. The HCA should have completed the level 1 & 2 training or had adequate teaching, assessment and experience within their workplace. The course recognises both pathways, draws on the experience that gained and develops the HCA further. This course gives the HCA basis of development to progress onto Level 4. The course helps the HCA develop their continuing professional development through online learning, practice assessment and reflection. They are supported by a workplace mentor who signs an agreement to support the student in their training. The CPD is evidenced in a portfolio that the HCA should have started to develop throughout their career
