A brief description about this Activity.
This online injection training course which is aimed for HCA's that have studied at level 3. This course meets the National Minimal Standards along with some added extras which make it specific for working in general practice. This course is valid for 6 months and is a mixture of online training, short tests, self directed learning, inhouse teaching, competences and reflections. A workplace registered healthcare professional is required to mentor and mentor / student agreement form must be submitted before the student can progress onto the course. Students must have completed up to date mandatory training in basic life support, anaphylaxis and adult and child safeguarding. The students mentor will sign off final competencies to complete the course.
