A brief description about this Activity.
The day will offer an overview and introduction of the DMM using videos of parent-child interaction, child narrative story stems (a means of understanding the relationships and play of children), and transcripts of interviews with children and adults, and clinical case material, to illustrate and show attachment (and the impact of trauma) in action as well as the underpinning theory that explains and makes sense of it. There will be the opportunity to discuss and integrate this and for participants to consider its clinical implications.
