A brief description about this Activity.
The course will allow participants who work in the health sector and teaching profession with an in-depth knowledge, skills, and awareness on how to effectively support and deal with challenging behaviour problems implementing the current educational legislation and policies to encourage positive behavioural management and effective approaches in conjunction with each teaching institution's Behavioural Policy working in partnership with families and relevant professional bodies . All professionals attending this training must fully meet the criteria for working with children and vulnerable adults and cleared by the DBS. All the health care professionals supporting vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours must support them in partnership with their families and the Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) to deliver quality patient or person centred care in line with organisational policies and current guidelines of National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) and Care Quality Commission (CQC).
