Mercury Awareness online course providing learners with the knowledge needed to work safely where Mercury is be present. A Mercury Awareness certificate is emailed on completion. Mercury is highly toxic and, if inhaled, ingested, or absorbed into the body through skin contact, it can cause very serious ill health. For example, neurological disturbances, kidney damage and muscle weakness. The online course provides candidates with an awareness of these dangers, appropriate safety measures and how to respond should contamination occur.
