A brief description about this Activity.
An E-File Course is designed to teach students how to safely and effectively use an electric file (also known as an e-file) in nail care and enhancement procedures. The course covers the proper techniques for using an e-file to shape, buff, and smooth nails, as well as remove gel, acrylic, and BIAB products. Learners will also gain an understanding of the different types of bits and attachments used with an e-file, how to choose the right one for each nail service, and how to avoid common mistakes such as overheating or damaging the natural nail. The course emphasizes safety, proper hand and tool positioning, and the importance of maintaining control to ensure precision and reduce the risk of injury. By the end of the course, students will be able to use an e-file with confidence, providing quicker, more efficient services while maintaining high standards of client safety and nail health. Prerequisites: Minimum Age Requirement: Learners must be 16 years of age or older (18+ preferred for insurance purposes). Previous Qualifications: Hold a Manicure and Gel Polish or Acrylic Nail Extension Qualification (Level 2 or equivalent). This ensures understanding of nail structure, product application, and removal techniques. Knowledge of Nail Anatomy & Physiology.
