A brief description about this Activity.
A Gel Polish Course teaches students how to apply and maintain gel polish on natural nails for a long-lasting, high-shine finish. This course covers the essential steps of gel polish application, including proper nail preparation, curing the gel under UV/LED lights, and creating flawless designs. Learners will also study important topics like nail health, product knowledge, and safety practices to ensure that the gel polish is applied correctly and without damage to the natural nails. The course includes practical training in applying base coats, colour layers, and top coats, as well as techniques for creating nail art with gel polish. By the end of the course, students will be able to provide clients with a professional gel polish manicure that lasts for weeks, with minimal chipping or peeling. Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of manicure procedures (nail preparation, cuticle care, and shaping). Good understanding of health, safety, and hygiene practices within a beauty or salon environment. Recommended (But Not Essential): A Level 2 Certificate in Manicure or equivalent experience in nail treatments. Experience working in a beauty or salon setting.
