A brief description about this Activity.

This course is suitable for managers, designated safeguarding leads (DSL) and deputy DSLs. It provides an overview of the types and indicators of abuse and the factors that make an individual more vulnerable to abuse. Attendees will learn about the role of the DSL, how to make safeguarding personal, how to carry out sensitive conversations about abuse and how to support an individual and staff through an enquiry.
