A brief description about this Activity.
Dermal filling has rapidly become one of the most common procedures performed by clinicians worldwide. The vast majority of treatments are successful and patient satisfaction is high. However, complications, both mild and severe, have been reported and result from injection of many different types of dermal fillers and antiwrinkle injections. Our bespoke Aesthetic complications course is designed to equip both new and experienced practitioners with the skills to recognise, manage and prevent aesthetic complications. Using a systematic approach, the course covers immediate, early and late-onset complications with key management protocols for each, with the core principle of patient safety. The CPD activity take into consideration the accessibility for individuals whom may require special measures. We allow reasonable adjustments to reflect the needs of the students.
