Vitamin H (Biotin)is a water soluable vitamin and is also considered to be part of the vitamin B family and that is why it also is known as Biotin and vitamin B7, it is an essential nutrient that is naturally present in some foods and is available as a dietry supplement, it is a nutrient that the body requires in small amounts, a micro nutrient, it is a coenzyme that is necessary for fat, carbohydrate and protein metabolism and it helps turn the food that you eat into energy it also has a role in hormone production. Biotin helps to keep your hair, skin, eyes, nails, liver and your nervous system healthy, it is also a crucial nutrient needed during pregnancy as it is important for embyrolic growth. The course will cover health & safety, legislations, theory, contra-indications, consultation, A&P, procedure, Prescriber, application of Vitamin H (Biotin) questionnaire on Vitamin H injections. All products will be supplied on the training day. Must have level 3 Beauty or Anatomy & Physiology certification and 6 months needling experience, or 12 months needling experience to obtain treatment insurance.
