The CPD Group utilises a bespoke online portal for all accreditation applications. Upon submission, each application undergoes a thorough review against their A.C.C.R.E.D.I.T.E.D framework by a dedicated Accreditation Assessor. Each element of the framework is carefully evaluated, and if additional information or edits are required, the assessor provides detailed feedback explaining what is needed to meet the specific criteria. This feedback is readily accessible to the client through the portal.
The CPD Group's accredited CPD activities are easily identifiable by a unique ‘Accredited Activity’ logo, designed specifically to be presented on learner certification. This logo includes the Accreditation Identification Number (AIN), CPD credit allocation and a link to The CPD Register, enabling quick verification of the activity's accreditation status directly from learner certifications.
The CPD Group advise their customers to keep their courses up to date and recommend that if activities are changed, they create a new version in their accounts. This ensures that The CPD Group has accredited the most up to date version of the activity, and they are aware of any changes that have been made. For changes of more than 10% of the activity, customers may be required to resubmit their course for full accreditation.
The CPD Group's accreditation is valid for a maximum of three years. At that point, their Accreditation & Compliance Team conducts a mandatory review to ensure accredited courses continue to meet their evolving A.C.C.R.E.D.I.T.E.D Frameworks. This "behind-the-scenes" process is provided free of charge and is designed to keep client courses up-to-date, fit for purpose, and to preserve the value of their CPD accreditation. In some cases, clients may be asked to resubmit their course application for a full review, depending on the extent of amendments required to maintain the course's effectiveness.
For The CPD Group's PAYG services, once the 36-month accreditation has ended, the provider will need to purchase new slots and reupload their activity.
