As of 28th August 2024 The CPD Official was taken down, this could mean that they are no longer trading.
Prior to the removal of the website we could see that The CPD Official is affiliated with insurance companies which we feel does not demonstrate an independent company. They may also share your data with 3rd parties.
Due to Companies House releasing their new requirements for organisations under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act, we have taken the view that The CPD Official should not be listed on the register as they do not publish an address which means they are non-traceable and non-verifiable.
Although The CPD Official is not a limited company, we have taken the view that the requirements within the Act should be applicable to all business types, not just those that are registered with Companies House. We feel that it is imperative that the CPD Consumer has the confidence that they are dealing with a genuine CPD Accreditation Service Provider, where the business owners have been identified and are contactable in the event of a legal issue.
The CPD Official also do not have terms and conditions on their website which means if you purchased through them, you may not be protected.
