Intensive Microbiology Training

This Intensive Microbiology Training is designed to address the shortage of experienced Biomedical Scientists within the microbiology department nationwide. The course is specifically for those without prior diagnostic experience within the microbiology laboratory and wishes to pursue a career in microbiology laboratory as Associate Practitioner, Trainee Biomedical Scientist or Biomedical Scientist. This course will equip you with the skills and techniques required to work efficiently within the microbiology laboratory without further training. You will gain experience of working both independently and as part of a team during your training.This is a core-practical training where competencies will be achieved in the following microbiology specialisations : Bacteriology Virology / Serology Parasitology Mycology Mycobacteriology Fluorescence Microscopy
