The Core of Knowledge training provides essential theoretical knowledge for operators and practitioners using Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) equipment in clinical and aesthetic settings. This accredited activity equips learners with a comprehensive understanding of laser physics, tissue interactions, hazards, safety management, and regulatory compliance.

• To ensure compliance with UK legislation and standards, including the MHRA and local authority requirements.

• Roles and Responsibilities: Operators, Laser Protection Supervisors (LPS), and Laser Protection Advisors (LPA).
• Safe Systems of Work (SSOW): Local Rules, treatment protocols, and documentation.
