This online Scaffolding Awareness course is designed to provide learners with an understanding of how to work safely on scaffolding.
A 2020 report by the NASC found 1 in every 230 scaffolding workers (74 incidents in total) suffered an injury on scaffolding in 2019. A ‘significant improvement’ on the previous year, when 1 in 150 workers suffered an injury. The majority of injuries (21%) were Slips, Trips and Falls.
The Working at Height regulations 2005, require employers to ensure employees are competent for the type of work they undertake, and receive appropriate training.
