CPD IV Vitamins Course

This CPD-accredited course is delivered through a structured blended learning approach, combining pre-course study, a one-day intensive in-person training & a post-course assessment. The course is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the theoretical knowledge & practical skills required to safely & effectively perform IV nutritional therapy within their professional scope of practice. The course covers IV therapy principles, indications, contraindications, patient assessment, safe administration, infection control, bloodborne pathogens, and legal frameworks, with emphasis on safety and clinical governance. Learners observe live demonstrations and undertake supervised hands-on training in cannulation and IV administration. Training includes patient consultation, consent & documentation. A post-course assessment includes written, practical & case-based evaluations. Participants must successfully complete both theoretical & practical components to achieve certification.
