The Success Programme

A business skills course for bookkeepers delivered by Jo Wood FICB and Zoe Whitman FCCA, it teaches the business skills not covered in bookkeeping exams — how to plan, price, market and scale a profitable practice. Learners move through six modules covering: CEO mindset and planning, niche and service design, value-based pricing and onboarding; marketing and sales, scalable systems and hiring, and strategic scaling. The course is supported by a workbook and each exercise produces real business assets, namely pricing models, SOPs, marketing plans and financial projections, culminating in a Business Plan submission. Participants finish with a structured, advisory-ready practice model and the commercial confidence to grow sustainably.
Prerequisites:
Practising or aspiring bookkeeper/accountant training for or completed basic bookkeeping qualification or 12+ months’ experience. Access to accounting software and free software such as ChatGPT for demonstrations.
