About This Activity

Our Female Intimate Waxing Course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely and confidently perform advanced bikini, Brazilian, and Hollywood waxing treatments. This course covers relevant anatomy of the external genital area, consultation procedures, contraindications, hygiene and infection control, correct wax selection, and safe application and removal techniques.

Learners will develop an understanding of client positioning, skin tension control, professional boundaries, and maintaining dignity and comfort throughout the treatment. Practical training focuses on precision, efficiency, and reducing discomfort while minimising common contra-actions such as bruising, irritation, or ingrown hairs.

Upon successful completion, students will be equipped to offer female intimate waxing services professionally within a salon environment and expand their treatment portfolio with confidence and competence.

This course is suitable for learners who hold a recognised qualification in basic waxing or beauty therapy. A foundational understanding of hygiene, infection control, skin preparation, and safe wax application and removal techniques is essential, as intimate waxing builds upon core body waxing skills. Learners must be confident in performing standard waxing treatments (such as leg, underarm, and basic bikini waxing) before progressing to advanced intimate procedures. Evidence of previous certification or training may be required prior to attendance. All learners must be aged 18 or over due to the nature of the treatment.
