The Echo3 Cat and Genny course explains what the Cable Avoidance Tool (CAT) and Signal Generator (GENNY) are, how they work, how to use them safely & effectively.
By the end the end of the course learners will know how to operate both devices, understand their limitations, & appreciate their role in preventing damage & injury on site.
They will also gain a basic awareness of relevant guidance & how this course complements wider excavation safety training. This course is aimed at supervisors & operators who will use CAT and GENNY during excavation.
