CPD-Foundation dermal filler course

The Foundation Dermal Filler Course is designed for registered healthcare professionals wishing to develop the knowledge and practical skills required to safely perform foundation-level dermal filler treatments. The programme combines online learning with a supervised practical training day and covers facial ageing, volume loss, facial assessment, treatment planning, contraindications, facial anatomy, product selection, injection techniques and complication management. Delegates will learn to assess common treatment areas including the cheeks, pyriform fossa, nasolabial folds and lips, whilst developing an understanding of patient safety, vascular occlusion recognition, aftercare and follow-up. Practical training is delivered on live models under direct supervision to support safe, ethical and evidence-based aesthetic practice.

Prerequisites for Enrolment This course is designed for registered healthcare professionals only, including nurses, doctors, dentists and other regulated healthcare practitioners who are legally permitted to undertake aesthetic training and practise within their professional scope. Learners should possess a basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, infection prevention and patient assessment. No previous experience in aesthetic medicine is required.
