About This Activity
This one-day masterclass is designed for registered healthcare professionals who have completed foundation toxin training and wish to expand into advanced facial and neck indications. The course covers brow lift, bunny lines, jelly roll, nasal tip lift, nasal flare, lip flip, gummy smile, masseter treatment, DAO, mentalis, jowl and jawline treatment, platysmal bands and the Nefertiti neck lift. Delegates will develop skills in static and dynamic assessment, patient selection, anatomy, landmarking, dosing, injection depth, complication prevention and treatment planning. Teaching combines theory, tutor-led discussion, live demonstrations and supervised practical treatment on models. By completion, delegates will be able to assess suitability, create individualised treatment plans, recognise functional risks and safely perform advanced botulinum toxin treatments within their scope of practice and insurance cover.
Applicants must: * Be a registered nurse, doctor or dentist with current professional registration. * Have successfully completed a recognised foundation botulinum toxin course. * Have established competence in consultation, consent, infection prevention, prescribing processes and standard upper-face botulinum toxin treatment. * Hold appropriate professional indemnity insurance for aesthetic practice or provide evidence that suitable cover can be obtained before independently offering advanced procedures. * Have an appropriate prescribing arrangement in place for the lawful assessment, prescribing and administration of botulinum toxin. * Provide evidence of professional registration, foundation training and insurance when requested. This course is not suitable for complete beginners or practitioners who have not yet developed competence in foundation-level botulinum toxin treatment
