Course Description

CAIHP is a five-week professional development programme that equips practising clinicians with the practical, governance-first skills to use generative AI safely in clinical work. It is designed for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other professionals engaged in direct patient care, and requires no coding background. The programme is delivered live online across five consecutive weekly sessions of two hours each — ten hours of instructor-led training — supported by structured self-directed activities and a summative capstone project, representing 30 notional learning hours in total.

The programme responds to a specific gap in practice. Generative AI tools are already entering clinical workflows, yet most clinicians have had no structured preparation in how to use them safely, protect patient data, or judge when an AI output can be trusted.

Any professional or students from Healthcare background. No coding or prior AI experience required; beginner-to-intermediate level
