The eTEFL 30-Hour Online Teaching Practicum provides learners with the opportunity to put their TEFL skills into practice through a supervised practicum. The course consists of background material on teaching English online, scaffolded observation of recorded teaching sessions, and supervised online teaching to English language learners. Prerequisites: Learners must have received an eTEFL 120-hour certificate or equivalent, upon examination and approval of an eTEFL representative.

The eTEFL 120-Hour Online TEFL Course provides learners without any experience in English teaching the fundamentals they will need to begin a career as a teacher of English as a foreign language. Materials include background on sound teaching practices, including face-to-face and online teaching; effective lesson planning; fundamentals of teaching English vocabulary, functions, and grammar; guidance on teaching and assessing reading, writing, speaking, and listening; an introduction to teaching young learners; and effective use of AI in EFL teaching and learning.
