A builder gel application course consisting of theory work completed by the student in their own time prior to the training date. Recommended 8 hours of study of pages 1-37 of the manual making detailed notes. Practical session takes place in person and consists of an 8 hour training day including demonstrations, practice hand work and live model practical. Assessment section one is carried out through a questionnaire to ensure the student has a full understanding of theory work. Assessment section two is carried out through practical builder gel application with no support from educator. Student must sufficiently pass both parts to pass the course.

A 1-1 training date focused on the health & safety when using an e-file, how to properly maintain and sanitise attachments, and the benefits of using an e-file as a nail technician. Also covered is how to prep natural nails for application, the Russian Manicure, infill procedure, and removal procedure all using an e-file. Pre-requests: Students must have already completed one of the following: manicure and pedicure, builder gel and builder gel extensions course, acrylic extensions training or a level 3 in nails.

After an initial 6 hours of theory work, A comprehensive two-day course consisting of the practical application of applying acrylic extensions with full E-File Training included. Student will understand relevant anatomy & physiology associated with the nail, discuss health and safety, legislation and hygiene associated with both acrylic application and e-file. Student will view demonstrations and complete practical work on correct ratios for acrylic liquid and powder. Student will understand how to prep the natural nail using an e-file to ensure best adhesion. Demonstrations and practical on how to apply acrylic using the two bead method, including placement and how to build an apex. Students will watch multiple demonstrations throughout the day, and complete multiple practical activities before completing two live models of full sets from prep to application to refining. Assessment will be completed at the end of day 2 and the option to purchase a kit will be given. Prerequisites: manicure and pedicure certificate, beauty therapy level 3. Minimum age of 16 years of age.
