AI-Powered Workplace Productivity and Efficiency is a practical professional development course designed to help participants use artificial intelligence effectively and responsibly to improve productivity, work quality, and operational efficiency. The course covers effective prompting, professional communication and document creation, research and information analysis, task and workflow optimisation, problem-solving, decision support, and responsible AI use. Through hands-on activities and workplace scenarios, participants develop practical AI-assisted workflows that can be applied to real professional tasks while maintaining human oversight, data protection, and appropriate verification.

This course develops a practical, responsible workflow for analysing structured data with support from generative AI. AI is used to clarify questions, propose methods, assist with formulas and code, review outputs and draft concise findings. The learner remains responsible for data protection, calculation accuracy and final interpretation. Prerequisites for enrolment: Participants should have basic computer literacy and practical experience using spreadsheets, including entering data, applying simple formulas, sorting and filtering. No previous experience in programming, advanced statistics or artificial intelligence is required. Participants must have access to an approved spreadsheet application and an approved generative AI tool during the course.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Participants should have a basic understanding of workplace operations and an interest in digital technologies and innovation.
