A brief description about this Activity.
This international Online Laser Training distance-learning course is a Core of Knowledge training module to provide you with a fundamental understanding of laser and light technology, how light interacts with skin to produce specific biological effects and how to use laser and intense pulsed light (IPL) safely. It is intended for the international learner, regardless of location of the laser or IPL service and therefore covers only universally recognised standards, regulations and guidelines governing their use in a professional setting. The training program will be provided for you to study the course material in detail (i.e. workbooks and video transcripts) and complete the online multiple-choice quizzes at the end of each section. The learning outcome is an independently accredited Level 4 Award to the named student. Typically, the course takes 2 days to complete, with a maximum duration of one month.
