Overview for Basic Life Support (BLS)

A brief description about this Activity.

The Basic Life Support course is a one-day course which provides the essential skills and knowledge for Identifying causes and management of cardiac arrest until further help arrives. During the one-day course the student will develop the skills and knowledge in the following: Primary Survey, Basic Life Support including Recovery Position, Defibrillation – Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Management of a Choking Patient Post Resuscitation Care. The Basic Life Support course is run in accordance to the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines 2021, and is a practically delivered course.
