During this course, you will learn to distinguish between value-added and non-value-added activities, focusing on processes that directly benefit the customer. You will explore the eight types of waste—Transportation, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Overprocessing, Overproduction, Defects, and Underutilized Skills—and use the TIM WOODS acronym to effectively identify and eliminate these inefficiencies.
