A brief description about this Activity.
The "Statistical Process Control (SPC) Bootcamp - Excel + Minitab" is a complete training program that teaches how to use statistical process control techniques with Excel and Minitab. This bootcamp is designed to provide a step-by-step learning experience. It starts with important statistical concepts for SPC and covers key probability distributions like Normal, Binomial, and Poisson. Participants will then learn to create and analyze a variety of control charts, including commonly used charts like I-MR, Xbar-R, Xbar-S, np, p, c, and u charts, as well as less common ones such as Pre Control Chart, Short Run Control Chart, Moving Average Control Chart, EWMA, and CUSUM Charts. The course focuses on applying practical knowledge, teaching in-depth theory of plot creation and interpretation using Excel and Minitab. Further, the course covers the process capability analysis, teaching participants how to calculate and interpret Cp, Cpk, Pp, and Ppk, including for processes with non-normal distributions. By using Minitab tutorials and Excel exercises, learners will learn how to perform these analyses effectively. Participants will acquire proficiency in using SPC tools to evaluate and enhance process stability and capability by the end of the bootcamp. This will make them valuable assets in their professional roles, where precise quality control is crucial.
