About This Activity

Short presentation of the course:

Basic training in eating disorders (EDs) counseling: anorexia, bulimia, hyperphagia/uncontrolled binge eating, emotional eating, and other sub-threshold forms of disordered eating.
This is a basic counseling session in the area of multifaceted and multilayered bio-psycho-social eating disorders, which includes:
First Basic Module for Eating Disorders and Brief Psychological
Counselling- Active Listening by Carl Rogers and within modules two, three and four: Psychological, Dietary and Medical Aspects of Eating Disorders (ED).
Building on the individual Active Listening and Counselling skills, students apply what they have learned from the theoretical lectures and training resources independently in practice, the form of short independent assignments.
