Practical training in eating disorder (ED) counselling: hyperphagia/uncontrolled binge eating/emotional eating, binge-purging type anorexia and bulimia, and other similar forms of binge eating.
Short presentation of the course: Basic training in eating disorders (EDs) counseling: anorexia, bulimia, hyperphagia/uncontrolled binge eating, emotional eating, and other sub-threshold forms of disordered eating. This is a basic counseling session in the area of multifaceted and multilayered bio-psycho-social eating disorders, which includes: First Basic Module for Eating Disorders and Brief Psychological Counselling- Active Listening by Carl Rogers and within modules two, three and four: Psychological, Dietary and Medical Aspects of Eating Disorders (ED). Building on the individual Active Listening and Counselling skills, students apply what they have learned from the theoretical lectures and training resources independently in practice, the form of short independent assignments.
Theoretical-practical training for counseling in the area of eating disorders: anorexia, bulimia and hyperphagia/uncontrolled overeating/emotional eating and other forms of disordered eating control.
Practical training, through which new knowledge, practical techniques, and skills in counseling clients with disordered eating- overeating are acquired, restrictive/restrictive or emotional eating, for those affected by negative self-image, and those with eating disorders.
